as it turned out, my case is not an isolated one, so the problem is probably not in one batch. it's not as bad when a battery arrives dead or runs out quickly as it will ruin your remote / flashlight or where it is installed.

These batteries were given to our grandson for Christmas to drive his remote control cars. Duracell is the longest lasting battery and a great deal at this price point. Batteries should last him through spring.

I love that I got the batteries. What I didn't like is that I ordered two packs of 32 batteries per pack and instead received multiple packs of four batteries per pack as described and as pictured. I'm a customer who knows what they want and I had a reason you order two 32 battery packs. If I wanted a bundle of four battery packs, that's what I would order. that I have been using and recommending for over 45 years. I recently used the one I had in stock and found it was leaking and the battery was from 2029. Usually they buy 24 packs or 36 so I went to each of my 50-70 devices to check the batteries. Leaked in 2029, found in my blood machine, flashlights, watch, I changed them before the damage happened but they are still leaking. SO 45 years with a pack of bad batteries, question is where they were stored or what happened before I gave them away.
