This article has saved me a lot of time. This allowed me to add a shutoff valve to one of my hot and cold bathroom showers so I could make repairs without leaving water standing around the house for an extended period of time. Easy to use and worth every penny.

Works great. Much easier to use than a collar. Recommend buying these and a pack of rings if you plan to do PEX installation projects. The cost of these pliers is comparable to renting another type from large stores.

Sturdy construction and doesn't feel fragile at all. It feels like it's going to take years. I've used it about 20 times and only one ferrule has failed. No idea why it has failed to this day. It may have been user error. The measurements are what I need. It's a lot cheaper than the big stores.

Needing to replace PEX pipes which cracked in my caravan due to frost and this was my first experience with PEX. This tool is well made, well designed and I had no trouble clamping 1/2" PEX pipe with no prior experience. First I went to one of the big stores where they charged over $50 for the same tool. Great Tool, great value for money.

The tool was a good price and I couldn't find it at that price. It came with a set of fittings as advertised, again costing $5 to $10 compared to local stores. It crimps well and has a good ratchet mechanism. It took about 20 crimps on my project and they were all successful. The only downside (possible) is that the ratchet teeth show signs of wear. I don't know how long it will last, not a professional user but using it once will save you $100 on a plumbing visit. It seems well done. I've noticed that some people don't know that there are two types of pex joints. There is a clamp and there is a crimp. These are completely different systems. This is a clamp or tensioning tool. This tool fits 4 different clamp sizes. The crimp also only fits one size, although tools may come with additional adapters. I think the RCA is best for those who…
