DYMO 1741671 Embossing Tape Set: Red, Green, and Blue, 3/8-Inch - Vibrant Colors for Versatile Labeling Review

Fits on old Rotex hand labelers I bought at a flea market. It uses standard Dymo label rolls and fits on the rear handle as shown in the pictures. I have uploaded photos in case Rotex owners are looking for information.

It just doesn't work. Gets stuck in my label printer almost all the time. It's the same type (3D, 3/8") as the tape I used before, but I can't get either label right. They must have changed the material to be "slippery" or a bit thinner - this is what it looks like The internal feeder is not feeding the tape properly before I have NEVER had this problem with the original tape that came with the label printer Shame on you SMOKE!

I use them with my Dymo Office Mate II and they work great. Really helps add some color to my markings. The glue is excellent. I have it on some flexible surfaces that flex a lot, being a photographer I use it to mark filter holders and other gear. The adhesive is strong and won't peel off, so make sure it's in the right position before you put it down. It can be peeled off and put back on, but the label leaves white spots at the folds, which isn't a bad thing.

I can't be too eloquent about label tape, but I like to use different colors for different projects. The labeling machine I bought only came with black tape, but it's very easy to switch from black to either color. This tape also has 2 nice features: 1) When cut from the dispenser there is a small extra tab that allows you to easily peel off the backing to allow the label to be stuck onto the jar/jar/box. 2) The label sticks securely but can be easily peeled off if needed.
