Not bad but I have to give it less than 5.

Not bad, but I have to give it less than 5 because it sells well. THIS IS NOT A SILENCER AND DOES NOT ABSORB SOUND! It's simply a decoupling foam that serves the narrow purpose of car sound processing, which is to prevent the panels and door panels from rattling.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Almost never

Love it! Easy installation!

I like it very much! Easy installation! Easy to cut! Significantly reduced road noise from the roof of my XJ. Better price and definitely faster shipping by Revain Prime. I also bought Dynamat Tape - really just a glorified aluminum tape that you can buy three times cheaper at the hardware store. Save your money for it if you cover it up anyway.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Works as advertised.

This product was just what I needed to better seal my car doors to improve bass response and reduce road noise. I installed it over a layer of Dynamat mufflers and caulked the entire door cavity. The Dynaliner seal has significantly affected the sound quality and bass of my door speakers. Installation was easy - just cut to size, peel off backing and press into place.

If you need something like this go to JoAnn Stoff

This is absolutely NOT a muffler. Trust me, the automotive NVH specialist. I bought it without much searching as I was expecting a Dynamat product. I wasn't impressed. Material is 1/8" low density foam rubber. With no protective layer (just a slightly tacky adhesive) and no outer layer. It's literally a thin layer of open cell foam from a poor source - no asphalt, no butyl, no lasting results as far as that goes the sound absorption. If that's what you need, look at the JoAnn fabric. It's…

Ideal for carpet or ceiling covering

I have used Dynaliner twice. The first was a 1/2 inch thick dynamat on the roof of a 2001 Jeep XJ. While I was replacing the headliner, I pulled out a board and applied Dynamat and Dynaliner to the tin roof under the headliner. This gave a very good result. a quiet cabin in the rain and really reduced road noise, especially when transporting kayaks on a roof rack. The second application was with a product of this particular thickness (1/8 inch). I pulled the carpet out of the back of a 1998…

Excellent material! - Body and fairing

Damper (from Second Skin) + Dynaliner is a great combination. The Dynamat is much more difficult to install than the Damplifier, but the second skin version of the closed cell foam liner is not self-adhesive. The steamer/Dyanaliner combo, while not cheap, is the best do-it-yourself installation. Don't be lazy, especially with doors, and simply use large individual sheets to cover the "middle" of the door. (This can often be seen in photos of "professional" installations). While this requires a…

Perfect fit for my BMW X5 E53

I first bought the original Dynamate and installed it for the first few months and although it took away some road noise and improved the sound of the stereo I was still 'me am not as happy as i thought it would make a big difference. But as good as the difference was, I knew I wanted more. The only thing that annoyed me was the shaking in front of the front doors, and the second - to the rear. So I decided to buy it, thinking there wouldn't hurt to try it. As always, removing the inner door is
