After replacing the intake and exhaust filters and a new brush roll, the vacuum returned to its OEM specifications. Breathing new life into this ten-year-old Dyson.

Fits in the car - does what it's supposed to - we've had our old one in a DC25 for 10 years, I've cleaned it 2-3 times a year following Dyson's instructions. Time to switch to fresh. All is well.

The filter was just what I needed. I didn't notice any difference in suction because I don't know what happened to the old filter. It just wasn't there when I tried to clean it. I didn't know the price of the item but I should have had it and it fit perfectly. All in all it was a great thing.

It collected dust and pet hair, and I removed the dirt every time I swept. It takes seconds. Easy to wash but needs at least 24 hours to dry. I used my hair dryer after letting it dry overnight. I also dried it over the sink because more dirt comes out.

Genuine OEM Dyson filter. We have had our DC25 Orange Ball for 12 years and it still works. We had an issue with the "howling sound". After research, it turned out that we need to replace the post-filter. Well after so many years I have decided to replace them both. The car works like new again.

Not sure yet if I need to replace the hoses or anything to get my Dyson working the same as when it was new. This is a good buy if you compare prices directly to Dyson. This is one of the easiest parts to replace on a Dyson. The exchange takes only 2 minutes. This is a Dyson Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part. There were some other third party filters that were significantly cheaper but I trust the original as mine lasted 4 years. Odor. The previous filter lasted 5 years if washed every few months, but after use it started giving off a musty smell from the vacuum cleaner. The new filter does not smell.
