These clamps have good spring action and a strong hold. However, the orange pivot pins can come loose when inserting or removing the cotton, so keep an eye on them. The good news is that if it comes loose you can put it back on straight away and not lose it.

The handle strength of these items is pretty good for their size, about what I expected. My biggest issue with them is that the ends keep falling off - almost every time I put them on to pinch something else. Very annoying to have to keep restarting.

Theae clips are really handy BUT the little removable jaws on the ends keep popping out. I have contacted the seller, as far as I know they are working on this issue. Also, I use them all the time for any work that requires a clamp. Great product - lots of power and great price.

Strong clip and rubber tips won't scratch our chairs! We are happy with the overall quality and will be buying them as we expand our strongholds!

Wrong size! If you go to ANY hardware store and look for clamps you will see 3 or 4 inches, this is roughly the size of the spread jaws, NOT the overall length of the entire clamp! I ordered a pack of these and when they arrived I opened a pack of miniature hobby clips for someone to use to work on crafts, dolls, toy models etc!
