🚘 EAG Side View Mirrors with A Pillar Post Relocation Brackets: Perfect Fit for 2007-2018 Wrangler JK - Pair Kit Review

I ordered another set from another seller - twice they sent handrails instead of mirrors. Don't repeat this mistake. I ordered them and they arrived as expected, they installed within 30 minutes and I'm happy.

Great Product and Quality! Just as good as a factory mirror with the door closed. Again great to only use when the doors are off. A word of advice: I used black plastic spacers from flat panel TV mounts between the mount and the case to prevent the mount from scratching the paint on the stand. (see photo).

If you really want to see from your jeep then get these mirrors. Visibility is much better than stock. Don't work with open doors, but our jeep rarely has them anyway. We tried three other guys and they all sucked. They don't wobble and visibility is great. They look a bit dated, but Dallas traffic needs good mirrors.

The mirrors themselves are very nice and big. The problem is that IMHO EAG has developed brackets that mount on the "A" pillar with tubular doors on the vehicle, not full doors, so you can't fully open a full door without closing the window frame and mirrors to damage. , or both. For something seemingly simple the assembly instructions are very poor and appear to have been written by someone who has not actually assembled the product. First you will need a 5/32 hex wrench to mount the mirrors to the brackets - this is not listed in the instructions. Second, the components (bolts/nuts) are of poor quality. I would recommend at least some nylon locknuts to hold the mirrors securely to the mounts. The mirrors are supplied folded so you will need to loosen 2 Phillips head…

Let me address that first. WARNING: YOU HATE RETURNING TO STANDARD MIRROR AFTER THIS USE! These mirrors have a much wider and higher field of view. To go back to my standard mirrors when I close the doors again I feel like my vision is limited. I had high hopes for these mirrors and they far exceeded them. They are very easy to assemble and also very easy to install and remove on the jeep. I recommend using Loctite (Blue 242) on the Phillips head screws that attach the mirrors to the brackets…
