Outside use or not?

I bought these to hold my fiber cement siding and molding together. I bought them because the description said they were for outdoor use. The packaging says "not for external use" wth?

Good nail fasteners

I've used several hundred of these with a Bostitch gun and they never bend or stick. I decided that spending a little more money on such good nails is better than constantly removing corks.

Pros
  • good stuff

Good Nails: Fastener

I have used several hundred of these nails with a Bostitch gun and they have never bent or jammed. I decided that spending a little more money on such good nails is better than constantly removing corks.

Pros
  • For use in straight finish 18 gauge nail guns with pins
Cons
  • Vanishing Nails

Jam in Porter Cable Nail Gun

It looks like these 316 stainless steel nails are working great until I put them in my Porter Cable 790 pistol. So I compared them to my original 18 gauge Porter Cable nails. After some observation and attention to detail, I note the following: 1) the uneven position of the nail heads in the nail strips. Some of the heads weren't straight or vertical for want of a better word; 2) glue residue (which seemed to be the biggest problem) along the edge of the nail; 3) Slightly shorter than aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • S316 stainless steel will never corrode or rust. For indoor and outdoor use. Designed for use in treated wood
Cons
  • Obsolete
