Smooth is easy to work with small circles.

They proved perfect for my crafting needs, I wanted something to crochet to give my embellishments a void and not only were they flimsy/small and easy to work with, they were it's also absolutely smooth, so there's no point in scraping it with a hook and possibly scratching the metal. I am VERY happy with them.
