Description of Earth Creative Building Blocks 461PCS: Unleash Your Imagination and Build Infinite Worlds

Perfect Combination:The Earth, Moon and Sun Model let children understand the operation of the solar system and also understand the relationship between the Earth, Moon and Sun. Perfect Gift:Earth, Moon, and Sun orrery model suitable for children aged 6+ and above to assemble their own model.Give the gift of learning for any young astronomy lover. High Quality:All of our products are made of high quality ABS material and undergone rigorous testing and screening process. Compatible with other major brands. An Orrery of the Earth, Moon and Sun. It's reasonably accurate in terms of the rotation and orbital periods of the objects, but clearly it isn't to scale with respect to size/distances. When assembling the various gears, it’s important to make sure everything rotates freely. That is, don’t push the gears onto the axles too tightly, otherwise there will be a lot of friction between the gears an the Technic liftarms beside them. This is especially important when connecting the earth.

A working orrery made out of plastic bricks!

This ready-to-use Technic Earth, Moon and Sun Orbiter is a little tricky to set up the mechanism for, but a lot of fun to build. It uses Lego compatible bricks. Yes, it's a toy, but still a must-have for astronomical model collectors.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Our son was digging. for stackable units

Our son started assembling the same day and it was challenging enough for him to spend days assembling in his spare time. He liked it very much. He never mentioned that this isn't the brand popular with many. So it was a good product. We were satisfied.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Reliability

Came defective but overall great item

This item came with ONE bad gear. And that's enough for the whole thing not to work properly. Ask for a replacement and the replacement came with no problems. Easy to build with clear instructions. The finished product works as expected with the rotation of the earth and the moon.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • unsafe item

Losta Pleasure at the price of

I gave this to my teenager who loves Lego for the holidays with pdf on the card. After that I didn't see him for several hours. He said it was difficult but fun. He also puts it on the table at every meal, calling it "the main course." is it perfect no Is it weird and funny? YES SIR. Is it worth the money? Oh yeah. Would buy again. great sentence.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I don't remember

Very cool! For older children.

I bought it for a class at home. It took us about 10 hours to complete. My 6th grader even struggled to do it alone as there are a lot of moving parts. It's a really cool project when finished and well worth the time and effort. My only complaint is that the sun is really heavy, it falls and decays and is difficult to collect.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Great DIY design for construction toys

Planet Earth, Moon and Sun is an amazing model designed by Jason Allemann. (I don't know why Lego doesn't make these sets.) My kids had a blast building orreries. There is an instruction in the package, everything is very clear and understandable. The model can be motorized by replacing the crank with a motor. (We have a LEGO EV3 set so we used this motor.)

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Zero

The best unofficial kit I've ever seen.

Excellent set (with a few flaws) for a set that was never made by Lego. It's a shame Lego doesn't make them, there's clearly a market, but at least there are some pretty good unofficial brands that can. Don't get me wrong, there are problems. Not all parts fit perfectly, some need sanding, some need gluing. But for 10-12 years it will still be doable. As another reviewer said, start the build by super-gluing the black 6-pin connectors. Life becomes a lot easier. If you want official…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost never

Pack of parts with no plans

The pack had a QR code with download instructions that didn't work because it was printed with a tone inversion (black should be white etc.). If you bother to correct the reverse, it points to the PDF plans, but I was able to find the same plans with the original author's attribution on another site (which doesn't let me publish Revain in this review). Searching "MOC" should lead fellow travelers down the same path I did when purchasing this or other plans from the same seller. It's at home…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Useless features

Fantastic model with good non-LEGO parts

Great educational model with a very neat mechanism. The pieces are not original LEGO but made from compatible bricks that work well. There are quirks that I 100% agree with, but they can affect your enjoyment. There is no printed guide, but it is readily available online and can be accessed automatically using the included QR code. The instructions are very clear and structured in the style of real LEGO instructions. The pieces are mostly indistinguishable from LEGO except for some hard to mold

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • compatibility
