WRONG - READ THIS

I've had this thing long enough to try it twice on my child who had a fever. I think I've had enough time to finally check it out. This is the second time my child has had a fever and the scanner reads between 105° and 107°F. I call the doctor, they say the infrared scanners are always high. So I check it with a regular thermometer and it reads 100.6°F. Wow what's the difference. I've tested it over and over with both and it's still the same. I mean what a big difference. I am very dissatisfied

Great for everything but what it's used for

I have mixed feelings but like the fact that it's non-invasive like all other thermometers. That's a plus for me, as is the fact that it can beep or be silent, turns on and off automatically, and comes in a nice storage box. This is where my 3 stars come into play. Let's discuss today. My baby has had a fever for 4 days. So sometime today I took her pace with it. Pushed his hair out of the way, studying his forehead from an inch away.
