12.7TB after formatting.

I've uploaded just over 3 TB of music here so far with plenty of free space. At times he worked 18 hours a day without any problems. I just plugged it into a USB port on my Windows 10 desktop PC, then went to File Explorer > This PC > and then right clicked easystore (E) > Format and it got the rest done. After formatting the external hard drive, it went from 14TB to 12.7TB. I've removed everything from my other smaller external hard drives and put everything on this one, and I still…

RUN FROM THE PRICE AUTO CORP. DEFECTS AND ZERO GUARANTEE AFTER 30 DAYS!

This is NOT Plug-n-Play on my computer! Worked 2 months to get it working. Finally managed to recognize 1TB. UPDATE: Sent back for warranty replacement. REJECTED! They said it was "intervening" which wasn't! This is a drive that did NOT work right out of the box! I'm not an electronics expert, opening will void the warranty, I wouldn't risk the warranty just to "look inside". Contacted support twice and tried to get it working but to no avail. Contact the BBB for help!

Great external drive, would like to see some changes

Pretty good external drive, especially for the price. However, I have found that the drive will BURN without active cooling. 50Β°C during use. I wish there was a small fan to keep it cool. I would also like to see a switch to the USB-C interface and not the included Micro-B.

Reliable, durable and LOTS of space!

So far in our tests, this drive has proven to be reliable and durable. We have copied a lot of information to and from the hard drive over the past month with great success. Obviously we have ways to see how it holds up after months, so far it's working pretty well. The transfer speed is what it should be for a high-quality drive, making it ideal for bulk content and backups (around 180-190 MB/s on average).
