Not for Honda Accord 2008. The transmitter which should fall directly into the case is not suitable. The button cutouts are also wrong. The panic button on my original remote is wider than this.

From the product description and search, it appeared that this key would fit as a replacement for a 2009 Honda Accord. Terribly wrong. There was no room at all for the battery or that compartment. waste of money.

Works great on my 2009 Honda Pilot. It required a small modification to fit in the coupe. But it works great. The main complaint seems to be that the buttons don't fit. Inside your factory key is a smaller box with buttons. Here's what's included in this keychain. Any good locksmith can carve a key for around $5 to $10.

The interior did not match the chip of my 2008 Civic Si. I put the year and model. When I bought it I got one that fits crv or other honda models. The interior was also damaged (the plastic cracked) and the thickness of the key didn't match the stock shifter, even after it was cut at the Rock Honda dealership where I bought the car.

Complete scam when it comes to Honda Pilot 2009. Paid for laser cutting and it doesn't work at all. Key too thick or too wide. The small difference didn't even fit in the keyhole. Spent too much money on laser cutting so it doesn't work. Also, the key fob's sensor chip will not work far after installing the key fob in this case. Please note that the video of it working does not show the key igniting the car. I wonder why? Because it doesn't work for 2009 Honda Pilot.

Be careful when buying this product. It says 2009 Honda Accord is compatible BUT IT IS NOT! It took me half an hour, a pocket knife and pliers to cut out a piece of plastic so I could put the electronics from my original key into this key fob. It's too expensive to return and the only flip key available that is compatible with 2009 Honda Accord keys is over $20! I have a 2010 Pilot. The remote controls do not look like the picture. The remote control buttons are arranged in a row at the top and bottom of the remote control. Not the ones with three circles and a red panic button below that match the picture and your factory remote.
