Benefit: Tools and equipment

Inexpensive portable power supply. Bought as a power source for a flashlight. Lighter than lead acid batteries. This is an excellent deep discharge power source.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Security

Fish finder for kayak works great

What can I say? Small, light and inexpensive. I tried this battery to power my kayak's 7 inch GPS/Dashfinder and it was great. I leave it on battery when not in use and have been in the water for over 8 hours with no sign of failure.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • No instructions

Good battery but less capacity than stated

In the first test after a full charge, a 10Ah battery only delivered approx. 7Ah, fan and pump unit were supplied with 3.5A (confirmed with an ammeter ). ) almost exactly 2 hours. That's enough for my needs, but less than the promised 90%. The battery is light and otherwise seems to be well made.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Best Hit for the Dollar!

Bought 2 of these to replace the lead acid batteries in a 24v electric scooter.Battery life definitely depends on how long the scooter is used but lasts almost all day if the kid drives the scooter. Significantly greater depth of discharge than conventional batteries, and they are charged with the NOCO Smart Charger. It's only been 6 months, but so far so good.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Volume

Battery is 1/4 of advertised capacity: really 2.5 amp hours

I connected this battery to a solar panel (using a LIFEPO4 charge controller) and connected several 12V wireless access Points connected to Ethernet switches draw between 2.2W and 2.7W. Assuming it draws 3 watts all the time, I'm dead in about 10 hours. That means the battery is actually 2.5 amp hours, not 10 amp hours.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Increases performance.

Bought 2 of these to replace the lead acid batteries on a Currie Tech scooter which I have owned for a number of years now. It's been dead for years because the batteries aren't being charged. Not only do these batteries fit perfectly into seatbelts, they also weigh half the weight of SLA batteries. And even though they have the same amperage, at high revs the scooter feels a lot quicker and a little quicker. My kids love to ride it. Adds new value to an old toy.

Failed on first use

I was initially excited when two 10Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries were available to power the SLA (sealed lead acid) batteries in my 24 volt Replacing cordless lawn mower. They're much lighter and a bit smaller than the SLA batteries they replaced. They had nearly 15 volts right out of the box. However, after being installed in the mower's battery compartment and charged for several hours, they didn't even last as long as their SLA counterparts before suddenly failing. An SLA…

Totally breaking new ground in rides

I bought my daughter a nice ride that wasn't cheap. It came with a double size lead-acid battery and a voltage indicator (like all). After about 3 months, even the double size battery didn't last 30 minutes before the ride slowly started to die. You know. You've seen it happen. So I looked for lithium ion batteries and most of them cost over $100. This one was under $70 so I bought it. Got it on time, it was half the size/weight of the lead-acid cable and it was very easy to connect (have to…
