Stay away from this filter, it worked fine for a couple of weeks, after that it smelled awful every morning when I start the car! The return period has already expired, so I spent my money without recourse.

They were the right size and excellent quality but they were very difficult to install (not because of the filters) but because of where they are fitted. OMG is very difficult to reach and accommodate, whoever designed this car didn't think about it.

Cannot install. Original BMW filters have 3 pieces of plastic glued on the long edge for easy installation. The filters are stacked on top of each other. Without these plastics it is not possible to put the top filter on top of the bottom filter unless you use some special tools which is very difficult.

I bought these to replace the cabin filters in my 2017 BMW X1 and they worked great. I really felt they were better than the factory OEM filters that I removed. I highly recommend watching YouTube videos (there are many) before attempting to remove and install cabin air filters. It took me about 30 minutes to complete the project from start to finish. I would recommend these filters to anyone who asks me.

At first glance they appear to be identical in size and construction to the original filter, but the sidewalls are much stiffer than those in real filters, the are flexible enough to easily fit into a tight foot space. Since the sidewalls don't flex as much, these filters are much more difficult to fit and you actually have to flex them a bit to fit them. Once in place and fully installed, they're great. Installed on X1 2017.

We have a 2018 BMW i3 and the dealer is asking $170 for a cabin filter. I watched some youtube videos and thought we could make it at home. Changing this filter is really inconvenient, so make sure you know what you're getting into before you decide to do it yourself. I just installed a cabin filter on my 2014 Mini Cooper S F56. The product was the exact size of the original equipment and installed without any problems. The airflow appears to be the same as the air coming out of the vents, has no noticeable odors. I will update this in a few months. I just installed another filter in my wife's 2014 Mini Cooper F56. The second time it took about 15 minutes. I've added some photos of where the cabin air filter is and what it looks like when removed.
