Pooh! Smells something, but works!

I love that this rug makes my stitches look so even. What I don't like is the smell. This is the first wool rug I own and I don't know if they all have a scent or not. Smells like old wool hive. Not recommended due to this issue.

I love this pillow! for quilting

The pad is very even, there are no soft and thin spots. This is the first time I've used wool ironing pads and I will always use them, it's much nicer than a regular ironing board cover as the fabric stays in place so there are no unwanted creases. I also love the glasses case that comes with it, it fits my scissors or cutting wheel perfectly. I would like you to list the cases separately as I would like a few more.

This is a great tool for quilters!

I LOVE this rug! This is the ideal size and thickness for stamping quilts. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have the space or inclination to pull out a full size ironing board. I was concerned that the ironing pad would have a bad smell as some other reviewers have reported. But I only noticed a slight odor when my iron was very hot, and even then it didn't last long or transfer to the material I was ironing.

The best ironing seams!

Not disappointed. This makes my seams very flat. I'm very sensitive to wool and it tired me for the first few uses but now that the production flying bits are gone it doesn't bother me unless I'm wearing or leaning on it. This is only a problem for people with wool/lanolin sensitivities though and it improves my ironing enough that it's worth it. The size is great for block press and FQ and makes a great travel option for ironing. As a glamper, this will be part of my RV sewing setup.

A wonderful quilting/craft product that is worth every dollar of the price.

I bought this rug because I am making a block quilt where almost all the pieces are cut on the bias and I was afraid of making a perfectly square block. As advertised, this wool padding allows the seams of quilt blocks and single pieces to nestle nicely and stay straight. The piece of fabric does not wobble at all and everything stays straight when pressed perfectly. A regular ironing board cover or silicone printing pad will allow the fabric to slide and move, but that's not the case with this
