This Microwave Omelet Maker is a GREAT DEAL! After years of frustrating "non-stick" pans, my teenage daughter saw this and gave it to her dad. He hasn't used the omelette pan since then. This simple crib makes an easy, fluffy omelette without the mess. Easy to hand wash. I don't know if it can be washed in the dishwasher. If you only use a dishwasher, check the description. Definitely recommend.

Should have tried it! I washed before use and used 2 eggs and 1 yolk. The only thing that isn't entirely clear is whether you leave it open after closing it to join the two halves or whether you leave it open. I left it open. The egg was quite fluffy, a bit overcooked, but next time I'll just change the cooking time. The omelet fell out. I fried the onion and peppers beforehand, maybe I'll try them raw next time. All in all a good kitchen helper.

This brand makes good omelettes. I make 3 egg omelettes in it which cook for 1 minute then I take a fork pull the ends towards the center then I take the fork for another minute to make sure the edges are fluffy. Cook for minutes or 30 seconds until cooked, then add fixin, top with cheese, close lid, cook another 45-50 seconds, allow to set slightly, open. Contrary to the previous review, I have 3 LAMI Microwave Omelet Makers and have not had to use nonstick spray on any of them. As I pondered various omelet recipes, I found that beating just eggs as the first ingredient results in a fluffy omelet, almost like scrambled eggs, whereas if I (initially) add cheese to the egg mixture, I pour half of it onto each side the omelette (according to the instructions), the eggs become less fluffy after half the cooking time. .
