Wow, this carb works great on my small block Chevy 350! Instant response to the gas pedal, the complete absence of jerks and decent gas mileage. Starts every time without having to press the accelerator. Couldn't be happier.

Factory carburetors and smog devices have caused problems with poor performance and terrible gas mileage. But this carburetor solves problems. I never expected high gas mileage, but realized an improvement of about 20%.

Bought to replace Summit brand, new carburetor out of the box and ran at full speed. Tech support told me to change a few things. The only things that need to be changed on the new carburetor are the idle and the fuel mixture. So ordered this one. The car starts well, idles and turns well

I've had an old Carter AFB for years and it worked fine, but I knew I needed a new one. It's a good carb, but not straight out of the box. After that I had to remove the IMS bolts and carburetor cleaning holes with an air hose. As I said, I haven't checked the float level yet, but it's working fine now. Not a bad carb, but I think I should have gone with the AVS 650.

Bought for my 78 F150 with 302 to replace a holley that never worked properly and was causing problem after problem. I ordered this for a marine application, I installed it on a Mercruiser 330 (Chevy 454ci). It came in place as pictured and as described. Removed the old Quadra Junk carburetor, installed an adapter plate, rerouted the fuel line and routed the connecting hardware. I didn't adjust anything at all, just screwed it in, cranked it a few times, and bled it a few times and my old 454 came alive after 3 years of inactivity. Bought to replace an old Edelbrock Performer intake quad on an AMC 360. What a huge difference! Admittedly, the Quadrajet was old, full of holes and in dire need of a refurb, so it just didn't work properly no matter how I set it up. Edelbrock was very easy to install. I ordered this carburetor and it is easy to install. However, you need to consider (and possibly buy) a few extra things. I will come to these points at the end. The hardest part of this setup was routing the wire to the throttle. it was so easy. Took me about 90 minutes from end to end.
