This did not work with my Garman Nuvi 2595. It powers the device but the device does not report any traffic. In addition, the traffic receiver is more than 60 cm away from the plug-in. It should be closer to the device so the rest of the cable can be hidden. spent my money

It did exactly what I needed. I had to plug my Garmin GPS directly into my truck's power supply so I could share the cigarette lighter power port. I installed it for about a week and am very happy with it. Plenty of cables to extend the distance if I need to. I would buy again if needed.

I used this for my GPS on my Harley Davidson '09 Ultra Classic FLHTCU. I had an extra connector for my bike that I used to connect a cable to the ACC switch. Product does not work as described. I cut the cables to fit my bike but no power came through. I was ready to give up the product and saw another review that helped. The cables were connected incorrectly! I connected red wire to red wire, black wire to black wire. Nothing happened except that the small control box got hot. I bought this cable twice. When I installed the first one on my bike it happened to stop powering my Garmin GPS and I thought I shorted it out when I realized the cable was pinched under the tank. I changed the cable but the problem persisted, however it worked well enough to charge the device in battery mode. I received a newer bike and decided to buy this product again.
