I give 4 stars because the mount is a little strange. However, the product itself seems to work great. The Switch is a pretty efficient little gadget, but if there's a way to make something work better, I'm all for it. The device is basic, and if I play BoTW for about 4 hours I can definitely feel this thing pulling heat out of the vents. Even if it works a little, it gives me peace of mind that my system is running a little slower. Worth a try.

Installed according to the instructions and photos on the product page. Was a little taken aback that the plastic tab is MUCH longer than in all but two of the photos so you really need to put it in the dock. inside or the fan blades meet the inside of the case. I didn't expect much of that, especially for the price. However, I noticed a drop in the operating temperature of almost 7 degrees when turning it on and off (at least according to the device's built-in temperature sensor). I've been using the fan dock for my Nintendo Switch for over a year now and the original fan bearing has failed. I fixed it by replacing the tiny 50mm fan with one I found on eBay. However, this was not an exact match and required some minor modifications. However, even with this fan, the bearing became loud and squeaked.
