It worked! - Spares

This unit worked well but I'm glad I read the reviews. Removing the wiper arm from my 2005 Chrysler was harder than I thought. Before purchasing the tool, I tried various tricks I found on the net, but to no avail. Reviews noted that the handle is weak and bends. One rating suggested penetrating oil and patience. It was good advice. The handle tends to bend, but that's not a problem with the handle. This indicates that the lever is indeed tight, and a light tap on the side of the lever can do…

Armrest does not fit on BMW e39

First of all, the armrest on the driver's side does not fit on BMW e39. Not enough space for installation. I thought for $12 I could cut out the retaining fitting that is causing the gap problem. After that it fits, but no longer holds over the wiper arm screw. That wouldn't be that much of a problem, so the hooks that are supposed to hook under the wiper arm plate keep slipping off after many tries, to make matters worse. Not even worth $12. Oh, and a piece broke off when tightened (twisted…

Went like clockwork!

I got these to remove the very stubborn wiper arms on my 2008 BMW Z4. First I thoroughly soaked the slots with penetrating grease and then pulled these pullers. It was pretty obvious the levers were tight and well secured and the pullers would need help. So the trick was to tighten the pullers firmly and then push the levers DOWN about 6 inches from the attachment point. This side load was enough to loosen the wedges. (It's also a good idea to mark the position of the wipers on the windshield…

Easily disconnect cable from battery post

Ideal for removing cable clamp from battery posts; I have a RAM 2500 Diesel with very strong electrical cables that over time become very attached to the battery posts - when they need service or removal these cable clamps can damage the battery posts while disconnecting them - this tool grips the underside of the cable clamp and pull up while pressing on the top of the terminal without damaging the terminal) - and exactly as stated on the product description (there have been some previous…

Jaw drive nut is 1 1/8 inch. Jaws stretch 60mm instead of 28mm

The tool is fairly well built but the size and function descriptions of the tool are misleading. The maximum jaw opening is NOT 28 mm, but 60 mm. Most importantly, the maximum nut height it can handle is 1 and 1/8 inch. So it will probably be ideal for a battery clip, but not for a wiper arm puller. Good luck finding a wiper arm with a nut that is only 1 inch long - maybe on a 20 year old car. One reviewer mentioned that this worked great on her Jeep Grand Cherokee - the arm base is 1.5 inches…

C5 Vette wiper arms removed!

Worked like a CHAMPION! Worked on a client's car and had frozen wiper arms that had to be removed. Used this tool and worked flawlessly. Now let's talk about those who broke them. If you are using this tool because what you are deleting is JAPPED, BEWARE! You can't just yank at it and just squeeze through. You have to pet it (no matter how your mind leads you). Soak in some WD-40 or PB Blaster or something similar, attach the tool, pull up a little, love some, tap, pull more, love more, tap…

Works great, but don't expect miracles!

This worked surprisingly well to loosen a stuck rusty wiper arm on my Audi S4. I sprayed it with lots of penetrating lube (good stuff. Kroil), let it soak for a day, went back and it came off right away with this tool. Is this tool for those incredibly stuck things you have? try again to free, no. Those who complain that it should have a hex head are beating the snot out of this tool, which it's not designed for. There are other tools on Revain that are not only far more powerful than this one,

Looks nice but didn't work for me.

I bought this tool to remove the rear wiper arm from my 2013 Explorer (the arm itself was removed by an overzealous car wash, this was necessary to remove the remains). well thought out and well done and I had high hopes for it. However, after my initial attempts were successful, I found that I had only removed the plastic casing for the base and the metal tip was stubbornly attached to the threaded post. So I tried again. I was disillusioned with this instrument. The allowable spread of the…

I purchased this product to remove the rear wiper arm from my 2015 Chevy Spark. I have tried other tools and have been left frustrated and with no progress. Anyway, I crippled my arm. I went ahead and bought this little tool cheaply. It worked great. Remove the cover from the lever, unscrew the nut and get to work. The large silver nut on the tool allows you to widen or narrow the shoulder span. You simply spread it out just enough to fit around the arm and tighten it so the arms are snug…
