This is a great idea and yes it works however.it will not work on outdoor plants the bottles will just fall over or blow off with a little wind gust.I think its a great idea for a indoor plant but would not advise purchase for any outdoor potted plants

Great for smaller bottles but larger are too heavy for the spike to hold upright. Best not to fill water bottle to the top. Pressure forces a bit of water out before you can get it in the soil.

None of the variety bottles used fit. They either Stan out of water too fast or did not disperse any water st all. Unpredictable. Actually I want my money back.

I found it very difficult to make this item work. I looked up how to install- followed directions to a T and still unsuccessful. I returned the items without even being able to see if it works- due to the fact I could not get the bottle connected successfully.

Unfortunately there are some design flaws which make them unusable. I needed to go away for a week, and my outdoor potted plants needed to survive the dry summer heat while I was gone, so I bought a pack of these and emptied out a 2L bottle to test it out. First thing is that the devices don't actually seal to the bottle, not even close. So after attaching the spike, I flip the whole thing upside-down and all the water comes gushing out. By the time it stabilized, half the water had spilled…

Great idea. Only some of my spikes work but the ones that do are great. Good for houseplants, not so much for garden beds. (Unless you use several)

These only use a small bottle and don’t work well for watering plants outdoors when away for more that a couple days. Can be difficult to adjust for different soil types.

The spikes watered the plants but the water didn't last more than one day. I was hoping for it to last several days at least
