They don't absorb anything. The water just stood on them. They are not 100% cotton. I washed them to see if the coating would wash off. They soak up better, at least the water doesn't fall on them anymore. I am unhappy that I ordered 100% cotton and received plastic material. Also very thin.

I really liked the look of these towels when I ordered them. I loved the variety of colors and was looking forward to having them in my kitchen. The problem is that this is the first time I have washed them with other towels and these towels caught on all the lint I could find. I am not thrilled with these and they are definitely not as pretty as I would like in my kitchen.

I love these for wiping down kitchen countertops and stove tops. They're machine washable so they don't get dirty or smell like sponges, and there's enough in the pack so I can just pull out a new one when I need a fresh one while the others are in the wash. I also like the bright colors and soft texture - very happy with this purchase.

Excellent hand towels. I washed them in hot water and dried them on high heat before using them and they stayed "thin" and not frizzy, but that didn't matter as they dried the dishes very well and didn't get dirty. terrible musty smell after use, like my old towels. A very good buy. They also arrived on time and well packaged.

The only thing I like about these towels are the colors. When I first tried them, I noticed that they don't absorb water very well. So I washed them without fabric softener in case they were made with chemicals that make them less absorbent. Nothing has changed. So I'm stuck with kitchen towels that don't dry dishes and since I washed them they are non-refundable. I feel cheated.

I bought these towels to use as reusable Clorox towels for myself and my daughter. We LOVE them both. We can use a napkin and finish the work. They're the perfect thickness and texture to get the job done. I'm really excited about my contribution to being more eco-conscious and helping to keep my home clean, as I've found that 'regular' products from the store are just as difficult if not impossible. I bought these to give my son a housewarming present in his new home. The packaging smelled so strongly of plastic that the towels also smelled very strongly. It was the kind of smell you definitely don't want to rub all your clean dishes with. I had to wash them three times to get rid of the smell.
