I have a Garmin Nuvi 1450 5" GPS. The bracket was broken (cracked) after years of sitting on the dashboard. I have read reports that some people have had trouble installing this aftermarket mount on various GPS units. I bought three of these and tested each on our 1450 and they fit perfectly. NO PROBLEM. They also snapped easily onto the ball mount. I am VERY happy with these suspenders.

Will not fit my nüvi had to use an old mount and it sags badly at the ball joint to prevent it from tipping down when a car hits a bump

This was the second one I've bought. The first was very difficult to attach and completely collapsed after a few uses. It doesn't fit the ball at all.

Overall it's great. Fits my Garmin but is very tight. The original mount allowed me to take the Garmin off with one hand. I have to use two hands to do this. Nothing fancy, but being able to use it with just one hand was a nice feature.
