Better than the original

It fits well and is better than the original part that came with the Garmin Nuvi. It has a stronger metal component than the all-plastic original that will crack over time.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • No

Just like OEM. suitable for GPS system accessories

I forgot my mount in a rental car and couldn't return it. I ordered this one and can't tell it's OEM from Garmin. In fact, the suction power could be better here. Perfect fit for my Nuvi 40.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

STAND DOES NOT FIT Garmin NUVI 40LM GPS

Delivery was quick - one day. I tried the stand on my Garmin Nuvi 40LM GPS and it didn't fit. Too small. I tried it on my Garmin 2555LM and it works great so I'll keep it as a spare as it was cheap. Now I need to find a stand for the Garmin Nuvi 40LM as I forgot it and left it in my rental car.

Pros
  • Windshield suction cup works well in hot climates and attaches easily with a one touch lever
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great Price

Works great for a fraction of the price of a brand name used mount. I don't know why some reviewers swear by this product for the lack of instructions. If you can't figure it out (stick the ball in the hole and push until it keeps going) you probably shouldn't have access to a car - because you'll be killing people on the street for clear water. lack of brain power.

Pros
  • Never get lost! Carry your Garmin Nuvi GPS with this suction cup windshield mount. Simply attach the mount to your windshield with the suction cup and lock into place.
Cons
  • Older dubious purchase

Suitable. Note the spike, however, which looks like a plastic in-mold in the bullet-catching recess (see image, enlarge if necessary). It was also a touch and a hardness. I broke it off with a small screwdriver to make sure it didn't damage the ball. The original had a plastic injection plug on the back of the cavity (see picture of the original with a "2" inside the cavity that has no plug there).

Pros
  • Supplemental GPS mounts are the perfect solution for transporting your navigation system from one car to another with minimal hassle.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
