Elchim VIP Ionic Hair Dryer Review

I will never have to buy a hair dryer again! This one is perfect! Made a huge difference in my unruly hair leaving it soft and fluffy! It dries my hair quickly without over drying it and I have to use it every day so that's important to me. It's durable and feels like it'll last forever! I'm so happy!

Concentrated airflow nozzle included (Dryer wasn't included in the description so I'm happy to mention that) There's an option to keep it cool or a separate switch for "fast-acting" cooling. There is a high temperature mode and a normal temperature mode. There is a high airflow setting and a normal airflow setting. The packaging says there are 4 speed combinations. (If you see the photos there are two heating lines and two air lines, I suggest two of each, so 4 total, but only two heat settings

My last Elchim lasted many years and would have lasted even longer if I hadn't dropped it on the limestone floor and broken the plastic casing. I like the quality.

I bought one of these at least ten years ago on the recommendation of my hairdresser. They are made in Italy for professionals, which is probably why I've never heard of them. By far the best hair dryer I have ever had and it still works. The only reason I decided to buy another is because I use a hair dryer on my long haired show dogs and since it works so well for me why not use it on them too? This is my first Elchim hair dryer and I've only had it a few months so not long enough to comment on durability. While it does dry out my hair, it lacks the performance of my previous, cheaper hair dryers and my hair's fullness doesn't last more than an hour. Quite a disappointment for the money I spent on it!
