wife loves electric blankets

Bought as an early Christmas present for my wife who is usually cold. She likes different temperatures which will keep her and the cats warm.

stopped working in Blankets & Throws

I'm not sure what I was thinking about paying $80 for a throw - the remote settings were very limited in options and couldn't turn off the auto-off feature. It worked 1 time, and then it just died and wouldn't turn back on. In the return process

BAD DESIGN. There is no separate cable to connect to the controller.

Very soft. Nice but there is NO separate controller cable to reach the controller. The controller is on a 4 foot cord from the bottom of the duvet to the wall! How should I turn on or off when I'm sleeping? I love softness and warmth. But I will be uncomfortable getting up in the middle of the night to TURN it OFF OR ON. I have a twin and wish it had a separate controller so I can use it when I'm in bed as I love how soft it is. and it is a beautiful blanket. I'm in bed. I don't really…
