12-Setting Electric Burr Coffee Grinder: Automatic Mill for 2-12 Cups, Stainless Steel, Precise Grind Settings Review

Easy to use, quiet, but mainly grinds powder even in the "coarse" setting. This is not the best option for a French press coffee maker. My piston screens are really being tested. I'll live with it as long as it works, but I don't think I'll buy this product again. (I would like to change my rating if the seller/manufacturer could offer a solution.)

Wow, absolutely avoid. I just set it up, and not only does it not grind the grains, but nice little slivers of metal started falling into the bin where the soil was supposed to fall. Dismantled, saw the beans stuck in the blade. Cleaned it up and tried again. The same result, now with a burning smell. The guide says it won't run if it's not installed properly. A little louder than I would like but overall no problem. I was concerned that I might have trouble getting a fine enough grind for my espresso machine, but I was able to easily adjust the setting and it worked perfectly. Some other brands have small holes through which the grist enters the cup. Many chips remain inside the package. This one is slim and leans slightly forward over the sink and pats the back slightly. Really too compact. The hole in the receiver is too small so not all soils get in. The base of the machine and our stand must be wiped clean after use. It has a digital cup measurement which I assume is related to the second grind. The 6 cup grind setting will definitely yield 8-10 cups depending on how much you like the strength of your drink. This does what I bought it for, which is an even grind from espresso to french press. The grain hopper holds much more than the capacity of the bin. I know so you don't have to overfill the funnel.
