put it in my grandparents' ford windstar when it looked like their alternator had failed. The one I bought looked like a buyer's return so it was a fraction of the original price. Just went and fixed their van, took five minutes to install.

Now on the second. The first lasted a year and after installation I noticed flickering/pulsing headlights, domes and other lights on my 2002 wind star. The second has been running for a year and a half. No flashing lights. You can't complain about the price here.

It looked well made and went in with no problems. They even give you a test sheet with a graph of its performance. Buy with confidence. 07/24/2017 UPDATE: The generator failed 5 months after the end of the warranty. It was a cheap unit because it was new, but I think you get what you pay for.

I love DB Elektroservice, products and they treat their customers well, trust me. I've bought many different electric motors from them in two years with no problems. Starter, alternators, boat lift motor, winch motor etc. If you ever have a problem no matter how minor it may seem give them a call as their warranty ends after a year which is fair in my opinion.

When I got my first alternator I replaced it and it worked great. I didn't know my van battery was dead. Which caused my generator to slow down. I know it's still under warranty so I called the company and got a new alternator shortly thereafter. A few months have passed and there are no problems with the generator. Conclusion: The generator is a great product with a guarantee. Customer service was great.

I installed this alternator and it charges the battery. As it should be. within a few months. Now, when I'm idling for more than 10 minutes in warmer weather, the battery gauge on the dash comes on, and when I start driving it goes off. Haven't installed it yet but it came fast and shipping was free it was super cheap I checked visually It's not refurbished in any way it looks like new who Windings are better insulated than the factory alternator. I can only find one visual flaw, and it's not a major one: the nut and lockwasher holding the pulley are in two pieces and the lockwashers seem to be off center, this may or may not be a balancing issue, but I'm planning on replacing these both parts with a factory solid lock washer…
