This is an amazing vocal mic. I mainly use it for live sound. I stopped using 58s on vocals and am using these instead. This is a dynamic microphone with a condenser feel. Not as bright as a capacitor and certainly not as easy for feedback. Compared to the 58, the EQs are much flatter and the vocals sound more natural and musical than anything in this class.
