Great replacement charger. Fits the battery perfectly. Charges quickly. Indicator lights let you know that charging is working.

Week charger - my new review

Not strong enough to offer a full charge on a 18 volt battery. My blower only lasted for 5 minutes on a full charge new battery.

Far superior to the OEM charger.

This charger works great, doesn't overcharge, and even somewhat rejuvenated the batteries I had thought were garbage. Now they are merely only as bad as B and D designed them to be. Excellent price on the charger.

A lot faster than original charger

I have been using the original charger that came with my Black and Decker trimmer. It takes 9 hours to charge the batteries. Even if I had already charged the batteries and were recharging them prior to use, it would take 9 hours, so one could not tell how much power you lost while the batteries sat. Worked as promised on my review.

I had a little accident with my husbands black and decker drill charging cord and let’s just say it was no longer any use! Thankfully he found this replacement charger. Popped on the battery as soon as it came in and it charged right up. Saved!

Replaced my Black and Decker 18v charger

I thought it might have been my Black and Decker 18v charger that was faulty after many years of use when my batteries would not charge (kept getting "hot pack" warning light). So I ordered this and it charged my other 18v Black and Decker batteries quickly and to full charge. Has several indicator lights. Turns out some of my 18v batteries were bad so I ordered several more and now I have two good working chargers!

Good feature--battery charged indicator

I bought this to replace the "dumb chargers" that come with outdoor B&D power tools, which use the HPB18 battery. The problem with the original supplied chargers is that they don't tell you when the battery is charged. So you tend to leave them on the charger indefinitely which ultimately shortens the life of the battery. This charger works best with 3 prong batteries.
