Bad connectors are good for computers and accessories

Connectors are too small for standard breadboards and can lose contact. Cable strength and durability are also not up to standard. There's nothing worse than trying to troubleshoot a complex circuit when a wire or two is not connected. Useless in my opinion, lowered my rating afterwards. Now I have the connector pins disconnected from the wire. really disappointed. Update: The manufacturer has committed to sending replacement wires as well as additional breadboards. These replacement wires are…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Generally OK, but...

price I like so much came in the box, a complete set to get you started. I don't like the division. The tension of the holes throughout the board is not constant. Some holes are too tight to plug anything, causing the pins and wire to bend. The rest of the holes have too loose and intermittent connection. Also, a pin on the jumper came loose, probably because of the tight holes. THESE HOLES, MAN! There's another silly problem with paper boxes. Somehow the paper tab you put in the slot to keep…

Most jumpers are bad!

So far the kit looks ok and all other components are checked ok but I had problems with 65 pcs sweaters! Most of them tend to have some kind of connection problem when you flip them and plug them into the Arduino breadboard. When preparing a test circuit, a bad jumper can be a nightmare. After several attempts to fix the circuit. I found that the jumpers from that kit were to blame. Attention electronics lovers! Jumpers included - junk. Must rate the kit three stars! EDIT: November 03, 2018…

The power supply is pretty crappy. All plug-in power supplies.

The power supply is terrible. All plug-in power supplies like this are the same. DO NOT USE 12V AS INPUT! This will fry the power supply. It is best to use 6V. The USB outputs whatever voltage you put it on, don't connect it to something you don't want to fry. I'm not sure what its function is. These boards have many problems as I have seen from many posts on the internet. They're pretty cheap though, so you can just get more if you really want to get naughty. Although I've found many better…

Abandoned layout, unnecessary jumpers

First, many reviews about the cheapest kit. There's a lot of random detail, which is great, but when the breadboard and jumpers are that awful, it doesn't really matter. The breadboard is biased or something because the jumpers go in with no resistance in some places and don't go in in other places. little resistance. I've had the kit for a week and had about 10 pins coming out of the jumper terminals and the only way to get the pins out of the breadboard was with pliers. The set is delivered…

  • Not the best

Good quality, but really just an extra set.

An interesting if simple prototyping kit. The quality is very good and contains a large number of high quality elements that you can find in other kits, including LEDs, resistors, etc. An interesting component is the optocoupler. I have used these kits from other brands including HSU, CanaKit and Freenove and this is the only kit that includes a 4N35 chip. There's also a small box with thicker molded falls, which you can see in the top-left corner of the exploded view; Again something I've…

Good starter kit marred by quality control issues

This is a good starter kit that is ruined by how many things are broken out of the box. Yellow LEDs range from dull orange to dull yellow. For what it's worth, the other LEDs in my kit seem fine. Yellow is easily the most controversial and poorly represented color. Please note that the color in my photo is different than what you see in real life. One of the Dupont cable connectors had broken out of the box. There is a very high probability that if a jumper is used, it will remain embedded in…

  • Expensive but decent

Perfect for the beginner who wants to assemble.

Great kit perfect for beginners who want to build some circuits with their Arduino or Raspberry Pi. It offers the amateur a major advantage over other similar kits: organization. All components are carefully packed, most of them packed separately, combining the packages quite logically (capacitors 22pF and 104pF are in one package). Put strips of paper on if you haven't already learned the color codes. Transistors and integrated circuits are listed on a small sheet with a part number, making…
