I love this thing, but my bulldog loves it. It works well enough, we've used it as a door gap limiter rather than to hold the door open. We just need enough space for the pups to open the door. They managed to knock it over a couple of times but it's a decent weight. I highly recommend it. One look at his face peering out the door is enough to make me smile. :)

I'll start off by saying I still like this just because it's so cute, but it's not heavy enough to hold a door with weight behind it. I can still place it by the front door and it will keep it from moving back and forth, but if there's a cross wind it just slams the door shut with a dog plug. Surprisingly, this alone helps with what I needed it for. If I had to rely on the door staying open, I'd have to go with something heavier.

Not heavy enough to hold the door open. My rottweiler must have thought it was his toy. Realizing that he chewed it and ripped out the eye after pulling the eye out of his mouth, I was shocked to see that the back of the eye was like a nail and the round part you see is the head . It's spicy and very spicy. Very dangerous for possessed pets and small children. I don't recommend this and I think it could be dangerous if swallowed by eye. It's cute and arrived just like the photo. Just not hard…
