This is a really nice, easy step in a skincare routine. It is so hydrating! My partner even started using it, to hydrate the skin under his beard. It has a slightly thicker texture than most toners that makes it easy to work with, but it does require a minute or two to dry down before you move onto your next step. I haven't noticed a big brightening effect but I appreciate it for when I need some light hydration.

This product feels silky and cool as you apply it on a clean dry face. It helps moisturize my skin and I apply it before my serum and moisutuzer. The bottle lasts a long time and is reasonably priced. I love it.

I. Freaking. Love. This.I received an essence in my ipsy bag and the description was "the skin care step you never knew you needed". Yeah, okay ipsy🙄.I tried it and to my surprise, I immediately fell in love and went looking for an affordable essence before I ran out of the ipsy sample.I LOVE ALL ELF PRODUCTS but have never tried any of their skincare before this. It's super hydrating, i like to use it right after i wash my face, no drying off. It looks the hydration in exceptionally well. It does have a light fragrance to it though, so if that's an issue for you, I'd avoid it otherwise get it. I love the viscosity of it.

I look forward to using this everyday. The smell is absolute perfection. This leaves your skin feeling refreshed and moisturized. I highly recommend this product. Incorporate into your daily skincare routine morning and night. You won’t be disappointed!

OK, so I've been wanting this elf product forever and I finally got the opportunity to get out and get it.To be honest with you it was the best decision I ever made in my life. Not only does it leave my skin refresh and clean but the smell alone will make me want to use it constantly. I highly recommend hydration water because it does what it set out to do. Again. Just buy it. Bought this on a whim from the clearance bin. It lasted forever and I used it everyday and after shower before makeup or anytime I felt I needed moisture. It was always the first thing on. It felt like my skin absorbed it and really changed the texture to my face. It just got my skin ready to take on the next layer of my skin regimen. So moisturizing, but I do have oily skin and it seems to leave my skin with a slight sheen at the end of the day. Maybe good for combo and great for dry skin.

This is the first time I am using it. So far what I was looking for. I have dry and sensitive skin in Winter and normal and sensitive in Summer. It makes me feel helping thicker serum spread better as well as keeping my skin hydrated right after towel-drying my face in Winter time. I am looking forward to see how it will make me feel in Summer, compared to Winter.

I realllllly wanted to love this.but it tore my skin up. I have been working so hard to build up my skin, and I heard about using essence as apart of the Korean face care system. Before I added this product, my skin was literally thriving. I used this product probably twice, MAYBE three times. But my face started feeling dry and miserable. I love using this to restore moisture to my face after using a harsher anti acne product. It’s perfect because it restore moisture but doesn’t make you oily at all. I use it before my serum and moisturizer.

I LOVE the smell of this! It’s so clean and fresh.I suffer from sever psoriasis and I use this daily and it’s helped keep me soft and smooth. I use it as a moisturizer before I put make up on, it’s a great base for foundation and the rest.I highly recommend!

Idk what it was in this product that did not agree with my skin. It broke out horribly. As soon as I removed it from my regimen. It was like night and day. I really wanted this to work because of the price point but it didn't. I also only add one new item at a time to my regimen. Trying to work up to 10 steps. So I'll keep searching for an essence that works for me.

I have relatively sensitive skin, and when I began using this product it was not too bad. It started to sud like soap when I put it on my hands, and it left my face sticky. I did put it under and around my eyes (it didn’t indicate that I shouldn’t) and now my eyes are swollen and burning. I love elf but this product didn’t agree with me

Very good hydrating toner. Not watery at all. Keeps my face feeling fresh, hydrated and plump. So surprised that it's that good at that price.

Doesn’t seem like it would be, but it’s a little harsh. Leaves my face red and a little splotchy. I can’t tell if it’s working or not.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong? With so many rave reviews I expected to love this product. It’s scented pretty heavily, fragrance doesn’t really bug me so I don’t care but it’s definitely not a scent I have to have. It’s decently light but I don’t feel like it does anything for me. I must say that this cheap drugstore brand essence is better than my high end Tatcha! No joke I use this a lot. Not as much as my favorite Korean essences, but it's great quality for the price.
