Not waterproof as stated by

I bought this gauge because it is supposed to be waterproof. Well it isn't. I've noticed condensation behind the glass since installing the gauge about 30 days ago. The boat is outside but covered. In addition, the sensor takes a few seconds to come to life after switching on. It's fine, but it makes a weird buzz when waiting for an answer.

Pros
  • . Suitable for fuel level sensor with 240-33 ohm signal. Please. Confirm your sensor signal.

Electronic Tank Level Sensor

This is the second sensor I've tried (both E-lings). They come in several ohm ranges which you should try to match with the fuel delivery unit. I thought I had the same units of measure, but the first only hits the full mark on takeoff and doesn't drop off as fuel is consumed. I think I have the wrong range so I bought a second sensor with a longer range. I haven't installed it yet, so I can't tell if it's a problem or not. Just warn future buyers not to check your caliber and send in the right

Pros
  • If you don't have a sensor, you can search my shop for a tank level sensor.
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Works as a replacement with some cable modifications.

Use this on an old 1963 Gas Tractor to replace the stuck original gauge. I had to cut and make wire connections for all conductors as this new meter didn't use terminals for connections. Small wire is easy to work with, but existing wire is much thicker and limited in length. When you turn it on, the pressure gauge is different. When 12 VDC is applied to it, the needle will go up as it vibrates. When starting the tractor, it increases by a further 1/8 from 12 to 13.5 due to a power surge. The…
