Don't waste your money

The sensor is not even remotely accurate and the manufacturer does not answer questions about it. Overheating and hypothermia gone. Doesn't even register a vacuum.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons

They Get the Job Done: A/C Line Repair Tools

This is just what I need to get the job done. Yes, there are better and more expensive devices, I also have a Fieldpiece SMAN480. But these masters perfectly cope with this task. The only thing is you might want to get the hoses with rubber seals, although I haven't had any issues with that.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Good, but not great

This set of pressure gauges will not work on 134a out of the box!

Warning to anyone considering purchasing this sensor set. The fittings on the gauge are 1/4" flare NOT 1/2" acme which is the 134a hose standard. That means you have to buy adapters to use your hoses. Also, the manometer does NOT read the vacuum reading in columns of mercury, but in pounds per square inch. This is impractical as all automotive documentation is in InHg. It's easy to convert to PSI, but I think that's pretty lame.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Negative available

Great distributor but know what you are buying

As mentioned this distributor does not come out of the box. This manifold is designed to be used with several different types of refrigerants and hoses, so the manufacturer cannot cover all possibilities at this price point. You will need a set of hoses and possibly adapters to connect these hoses to the 1/4" flare refrigerant hose fittings. You may also need a 1/4" quick connect tee so you can bleed the central refrigerant charge lines when topping up refrigerant, just plan ahead and make sure

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No mold required

Easy to use. - Air Conditioning Tools & Equipment

At first glance, this intake manifold pressure gauge may appear more difficult to use than the much more common basic analogue dial gauge sets. However, after using it, you will find that it is simpler and offers more information. After plugging it in and resetting it, choose the type of refrigerant in the system you are working with. From now on, only numbers for this refrigerant will be displayed. No more sorting multi-colored rings on an analog gauge. It comes with temperature clamps to show

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Well made HVAC manifold even for a pro

This HVAC manifold does basically the same job as professional gauges but costs almost an order of magnitude less because I knew a working gauge was about would cost $1000. I have used it to charge the R22 for my home air conditioner and it is much better than the analog meter I had at home. With the program implemented and the hot/cold end temperature sensors, I don't need to check the superheat chart to determine the correct amount of refrigerant to add to the system. The construction is…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • May damage
