Review on Elitech LMG-10 HVAC Digital Manifold Gauge with 2-Way Valve and Thermometer Clamps by Matt Eason

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well made HVAC manifold even for a pro

This HVAC manifold does basically the same job as professional gauges but costs almost an order of magnitude less because I knew a working gauge was about would cost $1000. I have used it to charge the R22 for my home air conditioner and it is much better than the analog meter I had at home. With the program implemented and the hot/cold end temperature sensors, I don't need to check the superheat chart to determine the correct amount of refrigerant to add to the system. The construction is fairly solid and the control knob is responsive and compatible with a variety of refrigerants. It should also be sufficient for use in an HVAC operation. It should be noted that this is a mere meter with no tubes, but for the price I have no complaints about it. Another small difference from my expensive pressure gauge at work is that it cannot read vacuum degrees. So for the task of adding fresh refrigerant to a new HVAC, you'll need a vacuum pump with a gauge, but that's probably not the scope. ordinary public users. Overall highly recommended. A good product with the fancy features of a professional digital sensor but with the basic cost of an analogue sensor.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • May damage
