I'm glad I made the change out of plastic, I've had it for about 2 years, it's very durable, I've been through everything. Doesn't stink even if you leave something in there for a week, trust me I know. You can also wash it in the dishwasher with the lid on.

Love that it's glass and the silicone ball helps make smoothies so easy mix and very easy to clean! I can't put my hand down to wash it underneath so I have to be careful not to let anything dry inside. it was cleaned up without taking it off, which is quite unsightly. Otherwise this is a great little shaker and I would recommend it.

I usually love ello products so naturally I bought some glass shakers as an alternative to the standard plastic bottles on the market. Unfortunately, I found that despite proper cleaning and drying, all of the bottles were starting to grow small black dots that I suspected were moldy not only on the blender's silicone nozzle, but also on the silicone in the lid. Unfortunately my return through Revain expired so they ended up in the trash.

I will never buy a plastic shaker bottle again. I've been using this bottle daily for a month and haven't had any issues with the cap or any other part of the bottle.
