The zippers are plastic and a bit cheap but they grow out of everything so quickly I don't see it as a problem. I've washed them several times and they're holding up great. I think the thickness is perfect - they feel about the same as the Carter's and Halo cotton we have.

To really sleep safely, it needs to be tighter, like a shirt collar. There is a real risk of it slipping off and covering the baby's mouth and nose.

This is an excellent sleeping bag at a price many times cheaper than well-known brands. I have bought sleeping bags for 6-12 months, washed and dried them and they fit perfectly. With these sleeping bags, the baby has room to grow. I suspect this bag will tighten at the bottom as she approaches a year, but seems great for a 6 month old, average height and weight.

A must for babies. Our baby loves to roll over so hands and arms are free. It's a soft material and I like to have two because it's necessary.
