Excellent bang for your buck. Note: This is NOT tritium and requires exposure to a light source to later glow in the dark. However, this thing is big and bright and glows all night long. It is excellent for marking obstacles or critical facilities when the sticker is exposed to daylight for several hours. I would definitely buy it again

Just received this item and agree with other reviews Very bright and fast charging. What I didn't understand from the description is that it is a hard plastic patch with sticky velcro on the back. This patch is not malleable so be aware that if you purchase it happily it will not affect me and my use.

In general I am very satisfied. It's well made and actually bright enough to read in a pinch. Blue doesn't fit. It's much greener than in the photo. It also requires plenty of direct sunlight to charge. If you spend the day in the woods, move it to sunny areas or it won't get any brighter than the new stars you'd hang on a child's bedroom ceiling. If you are in a snowy, desert, flat or bushy area, just put it on your hand and let it charge until sunset.

I love products that glow under UV light. It's great at night or in semi-dark places. About 10 minutes when UV or black light or those gas street lights activate this Embrite patch. 3 stars for construction and 4 stars for utilities. Behind the thick patch is a thin layer of plastic that is unreliable. But the thick spot is strong. I used it as a short light in the car at night while the driver commented on its amazing design. Excellent. This exceeds the brightness I expected. Plate thickness just right. It's not flexible so if you need it to fit over something it won't unless you melt it. The first photo shows the GITD panel just removed from the envelope it came in. Then I loaded it. First I hit it with one of my UV flashlights, around 365nm (2nd photo).
