Complete Kit

I love these embroidery and cross stitch starter kits. I used to do needlework, but I stopped doing it because of arthritis in my hands. I still have it, worse than ever, but I've learned to deal with it and move on. So I went back to these simple sets to be more pleasing to the eye but entertaining at the same time. Great starter kit - instructions are complicated but there's youtube for it

Pretty much everything in my headline. This is a great starter kit for embroidery beginners. I had prior knowledge of how to tie a French knot and did cross stitches, but other than that I'm a total beginner. It does NOT come with thread scissors which could be a worthwhile investment if you end up enjoying the craft, but everything else in this set seems to work great! Good for beginners but not a great guide (check out some videos)

I ordered this for my granddaughter while I'm visiting here. She showed an interest in embroidery after watching a video on YouTube. The instructions aren't very good, but I watched a few videos for her to watch. She actually started one of them and was able to do it quite easily. The thread is difficult to thread through the needle and the needle threader broke immediately (it's pretty cheap and flimsy) so I had to throw it away. The patterns are cute and quite simple.
