I ordered this for my granddaughter while I'm visiting here. She showed an interest in embroidery after watching a video on YouTube. The instructions aren't very good, but I watched a few videos for her to watch. She actually started one of them and was able to do it quite easily. The thread is difficult to thread through the needle and the needle threader broke immediately (it's pretty cheap and flimsy) so I had to throw it away. The patterns are cute and quite simple. Ring things, while a bit flimsy, work well. Don't expect much for this price. It wasn't entirely clear if some of the threads needed to be pulled out to be thinner, but that seems to be what they indicated. However, if you are completely ignorant of embroidery, like me and my granddaughter, the instructions are a little useless. Overall, for the price, a good kit for beginners, but be prepared to watch some videos to learn how to do it properly and learn more about embroidery.
