I have opened the box and will be returning this radio as it looks like another cheap product from China. I have a Midland NOAA radio which I've certainly spent a lot more on; I thought I would buy it as a cheaper Christmas present but to be honest I'm embarrassed to give it to anyone. It can work well and I have no reason to doubt other reviews. Just know that you get what you pay for.
