This is a high quality multi-band radio with multiple power supplies to keep it always ready for action. It has excellent reception on AM, FM. Official SW and NOAA frequencies. It is powered by the included battery pack, hand generator and solar power. It is solidly built from quality materials and made to last. I can only recommend this emergency radio!

Works in an emergency, that's why I bought it, but I didn't test the battery life, so even the cheapest headphones sound better. Sounds better with headphones, but not by much.
