🔆 Emerson CF550DMORB Luxe Eco Modern Ceiling Fan: 54-Inch Blades, Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish, with Light & Wall Control Review

The fan works fine if we can get it to turn on. Mostly unusable as the fan doesn't respond to the built in remote, we bought a new remote and it's been running the same for about 6 months now. Think Hunter or Hampton Bay would be the best options, fan quality might not be that great but at least it will work and there are remote control alternatives if needed.

This is our third and fourth purchase of this fan. Very happy with the performance, very quiet and also very efficient in air movement. We had a few minor problems with one of the first fans and Emerson's customer service was excellent. Please recommend this product to others. We plan to purchase two versions of the big brother (77 inch blades) for our main living area in our apartment in Mexico in the near future.

I love the modern, stylish look of this Emerson ceiling fan. The blades are notched and angled. There is some wind chill factor if the fan is mounted forward or backward at a higher speed. This fan has 6 different speeds. Everything is controlled by a truly unique wall switch. Runs on light and fan. It also looks great with my new flooring. Positive feedback from my adult sons. The fan motor has a lifetime guarantee and is of the highest energy efficiency.

When I bought it, I didn't know it came with a wall remote control. This is a switch block. It suits me fine, but others may not. Especially when used in a 3-way setup. But so far the fan looks and works well. Good speed variability and easy control. The control itself isn't the most intuitive due to its icons and perceived functionality. But once you know what's going on, you're good to go. Lamps are halogen. I was hoping to put LEDs in there but I can't find the right mini candelabrum yet…

The fan looks great and is of good quality (as far as I can tell). There is more than enough airflow for a 15' x 20' master bedroom. Absolutely no fan noise other than what is needed to move air around the room. An LED backlight is also suitable and can be dimmed (or not, via a switch setting). The installation effort was normal for this type of fan and was surprisingly smooth (no extra steps or workarounds needed). This is by far the most expensive fan I have ever bought so it's a shame it failed in less than 3 years. for him: it's big, attractive, energy efficient and moves enough air quietly in a large room with high ceilings. Unfortunately, controlling it has never been easy. It often required multiple button presses to change the fan speed or turn the light on and off to register. Finally, after three years, he didn't answer at all. No reboot and no attempt to fix the transmitter with a fan will work.
