I broke down and ended up buying my first pair of calipers and they work great. I had to do this as soon as I found out I needed to interpret an EKG for a class and I recommend this to any student. Well, the only useful thing in this set is a caliper, which you can buy for half the price. The ruler is useless. The markings on the ruler are too big to be useful.
