Very poor performance.

Very bad performance at 5.8 GHz. Expect signal loss at less than 50m if you point it literally straight at a transmitter in line of sight. In addition, the assembly is incredibly cheap, such. B. Loose and flexible connections that do not stay in place.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Speed

Works as it should. for networking products

So far I like the product and it works as expected with my device. Not remotely professional, but gives an idea of direction, which suffices for me.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Negative gift

Rattle from the start, should have been careful

This antenna always had a slight rattling noise, unlike my 2.4Ghz version which didn't. I've only used it once and removed it, not sure if it works. I just recently took it out and cracked it open to find all the insides free. I was able to glue the metal plates on and they work fine now, but I'm not sure they will hold. Maybe I just caught a dud, but buyers beware.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Ratio set
