This looks like a solid well designed product but the instructions for use are limited to the sketch on the box cover. My wife and I have been trying to figure it out for a long time. A good instruction sheet will greatly increase the value of this item.

We had a raccoon problem that got so bad we left our trash cans in the garage. I was about to build a separate garbage structure when I decided to look for a solution in Revain. That's it! One minute to install on standard plastic trash cans. The clicks close effortlessly and the cans stay CLOSED until the scavengers release the latch. Fantastic idea!

I live in Alaska and stray dogs have gotten into my trash can multiple times. I was tired of picking up trash and the elastic cord I used deteriorated quickly in cold weather. So far (and now 0 pace in negative winds) it holds up GREAT and opens and closes very easily. No more dog problems! I've told others to order this too!

Raccoons climbed into my trash every night and I cleaned it in the morning - what a mess. Tried putting big rocks on the bungee cords... figured it out quickly. Haven't had to clean once since I got them a few months ago - easy to use and install - works great with the bins in the pictures - would highly recommend. Costs money.

We recently moved to an area where poorly organized litter can be a problem for aggressive wildlife. We ordered one of these and couldn't have asked for anything better. It can be a little tricky to pull up and put together, but it's necessary because of the way it works. Just watch your fingers when you solve it and I'm sure you'll be as happy as we were.

Had to pull some 96 gallon trash cans out of the garage after buying a bigger car. I just put them on today and they were easy to install and fit perfectly. My only concern is durability as the bungee is relatively thin and is wrapped tightly around some of the narrow ribs on the cans which can wear down over time and cut through the straps. I will try to update this review later.

Simply perfect, practical, convenient. It took me less than a minute to set it up. There is no easier way to scare away raccoons. The only thing you have to do is put a few pieces of tape on the loop that goes all the way around the container as the container is thinner towards the bottom so it falls off when the latches aren't connected. But that's really not a problem. It's just a law of physics. Great recommend. Many Thanks

This is an update of the review I wrote the first week I received it in April but now the locking part is broken and not much will remain, which he knows well so let's say I hear the raccoons working outside and I hope I don't have a trash can and all the food I keep in there for the wildcats doesn't get eaten!
