📱 Black Thin Armor Encased Belt Clip Case with Holster for Motorola G7 Power Review

I have updated this review to 5 stars. A drop from my shirt pocket onto the floor and I got a nice cracked screen. I liked the reduced thickness but now I know it was a mistake. If you buy a screen protector case and your screen has a crack, that case deserves no more than 1

A little more padding would be nice, but it's enough and the belt clip is great. A nice secure spring loaded clip for holding your phone and there is also a support bar so you can use the belt clip as a stand. It has the feel and features of cases that typically cost a lot more. I am considering buying a replacement part.

Very good case at an affordable price. The rubber phone case fits my Motorola G7 Power perfectly. Not too thick to make the phone bulky and not too thin to look flimsy. The plastic holder is good quality and I like the clip that holds it in place so your phone doesn't accidentally fall out. Durable and we will build.

I like that the Encased has a 3-point attachment and easily snaps in for a secure fit. Because I keep bumping my belt-mounted phone against various objects such as chairs, car doors, car seats, etc., this phone case holds my phone better than my Otter Defender case. I'm still on trial, but so far I'm impressed.

I had previously ordered a similar case for my Samsung S8 and loved it! (see previous review). I would have ordered this case for my Power Moto G7 when I bought the phone but it was out of stock. After the belt clip on my current holster (surprise, surprise) broke, I ordered it right away. I know my phone is protected and the belt clip keeps the holster secure. The cover is solid, the belt clip holster is definitely the strongest I've had but there is a limit. Sure, stay right there. Mountain biking, nice and safe again, stays the same. the holster was to blame, it was my fault. Only criticism is that the buttons on the case are hard to press. Overall a great phone case.

Overall this is a good case to protect your phone from accidental drops and the holster is very secure and adjustable. However. There is a design flaw in the hinge mechanism that secures the phone to the holster. It is quite fragile and will wear out over time. A direct fall on the strap from about 3-6 inches will snap it, which is annoying since they don't make a replacement holster that you can buy separately. As seen in the description, the holster only covers one side of the phone; But put together, the case and holster form a sturdy clamshell case that fits the Moto G7 Power perfectly and seems to protect it very well. As others have noted, it would be difficult to tug on the clip holding the phone in place and pull the phone out with one hand. Other than that I haven't found any issues with the case and holster.
