I bought two of these to mount my 10lb CO2 tank to the back of my 2012 Toyota Tundra. I pretensioned the straps around the tank on my workbench before installing it on the truck. This greatly simplified installation around the tank. I don't use this like many expected, was looking for a flexible clip type to store my four tier folded step stool on the wall under the handrail for easy access make for me to get on easily and it does the trick! I use it as a large elastic on a chair and railings so I don't fall on anyone. And I can easily get out to use it.
